I ordered a glass of the Peter Lehmann shiraz to have with my steak. As I work in a restaurant back home there was only one thing that I would have done differently. My friends ordered different steaks and were very happy with theirs, but the fillet mignon was the winner. It was tender, it melted in my mouth and while our server recommended the bernaise sauce, the steak was so good that I did not need sauce at all. I ordered a fillet mignon and it was amazing. I had the spring rolls for my starter, which were very good. Our server (whose name I have forgotten, unfortunately) was fantastic and very helpful in explaining the menu to us (we are Australian so some of the words such as 'fillet mignon' are 'eye fillet' or 'tenderloin' back home for us). We were promptly seated and were given a great experience.
Our group of 4 arrived for dinner at around 8-30pm after a full day visiting San Diego. I am writing a review based on my experience dining in the Steakhouse, rather than based on a full visit including accommodation.
